The Arnold House has partnered with MOM’s Organic Market, Food Lion, and Giant Supermarkets to distribute food to individuals and families in need through our on-site Food Pantry.  The aim is to meet the immediate needs of Southern Marylanders while simultaneously working to find long-term ways to reduce hunger in our community.

Our volunteers drive out to pick up perishable and non-perishable food items from the grocery stores.  Some of the items are immediately distributed to families and individuals in the local community.  Any items not distributed are placed in our Food Pantry at The Arnold House.

Through partnerships with local soup kitchens and organizations such as Catholic Charities, our outreach program is able to identify communities where we can have a significant impact on providing fresh fruits, vegetables, and other foods that these individuals or families may not have access to or can’t afford to purchase on such a limited budget.
