They are the invisible people. The ones who slip through the cracks of the various government agencies and non-profit organizations that were designed to help them. These are the people who sometimes work, but don’t have enough to make financial ends meet. Families with small children; the elderly; the disabled; couples; men; women; all of various ages and ethnic backgrounds. They look like they lead a normal life, but when you look again, you can see a different story. Sleeping in shelters, their cars, or wherever they can find cover. They live a transient life.

There are so many ways in which your contribution is used to support The Arnold House and every little bit helps. You can sponsor a night feeding people and families at our soup kitchen, donate to purchase food for the backpack program, which feeds over 600 children in Charles County weekly. You could also choose to provide much needed supplies (propane, blankets, water) and materials (hygiene items, socks) for our brothers & sisters in woods.
